Computershare has invested heavily in developing its systems to meet the growing needs of issuers and stakeholders. The technology behind our share plan offering is constantly being developed to the benefit all of our clients.

Our market-leading technology provides plan participants with a fully online solution, combined with the support of a dedicated helpdesk service. Since the original launch of online dealing for employee option plans four years ago, Computershare has continued to enhance this product and can now offer a wide range of options to employers and employees. These include settlement in multiple currencies (via an automated Citibank interface), delivery of net shares to a choice of locations (including broker, ISA, third party etc) and a choice of executing brokers.

Straight Through Processing

Computershare offers straight through processing to enable employees to conduct the entire trade process electronically, without the need for manual intervention or the re-keying of information. The employee website, Employee Web, has the functionality to allow plan participants to enrol, sell shares, transfer shares, and change dividend election. The employee website can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
