On 9th July 2008, Computershare’s Australian Operations division was awarded a bronze medal at the Australian Business Excellence (ABE) Awards in Sydney. The awards seek to identify and honour peak performers in business, recognising and celebrating innovative business processes and approaches, sustainability of results, overall success and continuous improvement – and are judged against the most stringent quality award criteria in Australia.

‘Computershare is a strong performer in setting strategic direction and customer relationship management, and has an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement. Although it has a relatively low environmental impact, Computershare demonstrates strong understanding of its environmental obligations to future generations.’
Tony Scotton, CEO of SAI Global, award organisers.

This year, of the approximately 50 organisations short-listed, only five satisfied the criteria to receive an ABE award.
