Computershare expansion into Dubai

Dubai International
Finance Centre

With the rapid growth of economies in the Middle East and the liquidity this can provide, demand for services such as cross border listing and improved corporate governance are ever increasing. In order to tap into these emerging markets, Computershare has opened an office in Dubai, headed up by Paul Webb-Jones, who has previously worked in the Middle East as Sales Manager for Bloomberg. Paul brings with him many existing relationships with local exchanges, advisors and local companies.

Having already assisted Australian, US and Canadian companies in listing on the Dubai International Finance Exchange using our innovative cross border listing structures, we plan to leverage this expertise, enabling companies from the Middle East to conduct secondary listings on international exchanges.

We currently deliver a number of products across the Middle East, including audience response systems for numerous events such as DIFC Week 2007 and 2008, as well as Global Entity Management software for enhanced corporate governance.

The appointment of Paul Webb-Jones and the opening of a Computershare Dubai office increases our commitment to the region, enabling us to more conveniently service clients and stakeholders globally.

To find out more, please contact Paul Webb-Jones.
