Welcome to Issue 4 of Forefront.
Through Forefront we respond to key issues and changes that are happening in the market, and whilst we have all seen low levels of transactions recently, it has not stopped the continuous development of new initiatives and changes to market structures.
In this issue we discuss our entry into South America and launch two regular columns: one from our Dubai office and the other on Shareholder Meetings in European Markets. We introduce Computershare Company Secretarial Services, and outline an interesting US acquisition with an eye to the future of Bankruptcy Administration and Class Actions.
Finally we touch on TARGET2-Securities. This is an important topic for our registry clients and, as it’s a market wide issue, we wanted to give you some insight into the position of issuers on this development.
Enjoy the read!

Chris Holleyoak, Head of Business Development
P.S. In addition to this online HTML version, we've introduced a print-ready version of Forefront which you can download in PDF format by clicking here - perfect for getting updated during a long train journey.
