 Change A Life

Helping to Effect Change

As a successful multi-national company, we recognise that we can utilise our significant reach to create positive change for communities in need around the world. That is why we established the Change a Life initiative, which unites the entire Computershare community in a desire to fund projects that address poverty and empower communities to effect long-term change.

Major projects supported by the Computershare community include a mobile eye care clinic in Ethiopia and farmer-managed natural regeneration project in Chad managed by World Vision; a community development project in Laos managed by CARE Australia and an educational program in Sri Lanka managed by the Come-Share Foundation.

eTree: Driving eCommunications

eTree is a Computershare initiative with Landcare Australia that provides shareholders with a compelling environmental incentive to register for electronic communications. eTree was launched in March 2004 with the support of 14 Foundation members and today has over 75 companies participating.

For every shareholder who registers for eTree, a donation of up to $2 is made to Landcare Australia on their behalf to support vital reforestation projects across Australia and New Zealand. eTree is open to all Australian listed companies, regardless of their size or registry service provider.

For more information about how you or your company can join the eTree campaign, visit eTree.

Australian Red Cross Blood Service

Australia’s health system relies on the generosity of those who freely donate blood, plasma and platelets, with thousands of patients depending on dedicated blood donors to stay well.

Employees at Computershare's Yarra Falls Head Office are able to regularly donate blood via the Red Cross Mobile Blood Unit, which visits 3-4 times per year.

Since the beginning of 2009 a total of 385 units have been collected from Computershare employees, which equates to 1,155 lives potentially saved.

Do something special. Give blood.
