Intermediary Online: Transforming Custodian Operations

Computershare is pleased to announce the successful launch of its much-anticipated Intermediary Online service to custodians, which occurred on Monday 16 February 2009.

Meeting the needs of an industry that has long demanded increased process efficiency and register transparency, Intermediary Online has been developed with the invaluable input of a select pilot group of financial services organisations.

User feedback has already been extremely positive, indicating that the service is exceeding expectations relating to the more efficient management of investor accounts.

Intermediary Online will have a major impact in relieving the administrative burden on custodians and delivering significant benefits to custodians and Issuers alike in terms of risk management, business process efficiency, register access and visibility, while also providing the potential to significantly reduce operating costs and support the sustainability objectives of its users.

Investment Administration Conference 2009

Computershare representatives will be on hand at next Tuesday’s (3rd March) 12th Annual Investment Administration Conference at Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre to discuss and present Intermediary Online to interested parties.

The conference, sponsored by Investment & Technology Magazine and Australian Custodial Services Association, will focus on the theme of ‘Risk & Responsibility’.
